A view of the American Falls. I forced myself to wake up, walked from Sheraton to this place early in the morning just to take this picture. I really enjoyed the view. This is Niagara River at the beginning of the fall season. Don’t ever think of swimming or kayaking in this river. Only a […]
While in a cab from our hotel in downtown Toronto to St. Lawrence Market, I saw this church. I had to go back to take pictures of this church. I’m not Anglican, but I’m fascinated by old structures. The only way I could capture the entire structure was to use a fish eye lens. I […]
During our first night in Toronto, I didn’t waste time exploring the area. I took lots of pictures. I came back to the hotel at past 1 a.m. Toronto is very safe. I roamed around the streets without worrying about my safety. Toronto gets foggy in the morning, but for some reason I didn’t mind […]
I was at the University of Toronto this past weekend, inarguably Canada’s top research university. Back to album
I found this building as I was walking towards St. Lawrence Market. This is probably a well-known landmark among local residents in Toronto, Canada. But I don’t know what it is. St. Lawrence Market in Toronto, Canada was full of street vendors this past weekend. The birds caught my attention. I have focused on landscape […]

On our first night in Toronto, we went to Bar Volo, which sold at least 50 different types of beer. I didn’t count what was on the board menu, but there were several varieties. Back to album
Walking towards Sea Hawk one fall morning in Fukuoka, Japan…. I look forward to the next changing of the color of the leaves. As I was reviewing the pictures I took in 2012 on that 15-hour flight from New York to Hong Kong, I realized I have a fetish. A fetish for dead trees! Dead […]
At a wedding reception in Fukuoka. This was in Japan, so the serving size was just right and it didn’t taste too sweet.
Fukuoka Yahoo Dome, taken from Hilton Sea Hawk. This is one of Fukuoka’s Landmarks. You see a bit of Fukuoka City as well even at 10:49 p.m.
Good morning, world! Back to album
These pumpkins are real. The largest one is as heavy as 720 lbs. There’s an abundance of pumpkins at the botanical gardens at the Bellagio. I couldn’t help wondering how long they’d last. Isn’t it too early for Halloween? Lots of pumpkins. Back to album
