I keep going back to this place to be overwhelmed by its grandeur. Also, it’s in my neighborhood, and they don’t mind having strangers like myself. It’s hard to miss it if I’m driving on Rockbridge Road. It’s so much more beautiful inside, but no photography is allowed as soon as you enter the structure.

According to the documentation, this place was built using three types of stone (Turkish Limestone, Italian marble, and Indian pink sandstone). More than 34,000 individual pieces were carved by hand in India and put together in Atlanta like a humongous 3-D puzzle.
