|Address:||Approximately 11 miles (18 km) away from Jorge Chávez International Airport and about 7 miles (11 km) from Lima’s colonial main square. At the intersection of three main avenues of Miraflores: Manuel Pardo, José Larco, and Diagonal.|
At the center of Miraflores lies Parque Kennedy, named after JFK. It is surrounded by a vast array of restaurants, cafes and shops. What you see in Parque Kennedy is generally not representative of Lima. Lima is in large part poor, but here in Miraflores there are signs of affluence everywhere. Lima is generally not safe, but in Miraflores it should be safe to wander around. It hardly ever rains in Lima, so the city is dusty and dead, but at Parque Kennedy life abounds and there is no lack of vibrant colors.
